MW2 for PC overpriced in USA and UK

Modern Warfare 2 overpriced! At least that is the rumor on hundreds of forums. Retailers would be charging 60$ (USD) for the PC version of MW2, while it's common that PC games are priced 10-20$ less.
The most obvious reason is that Activsion and co. want to make high profit, as MW2 is the most awaited game of 2009. Most likely people will set the trend of over-pricing PC games. As soon all game publshers see that the audience is willing to pay 20$ more, probably most PC games will raise in price.
"Why are PC cheaper than Console games?" Well, game publishers have to give a cut to console makers, while PC is a "free" platform.
WE did some research and concluded that it's price is indeed 60$, but november is still far away...

What we are really wondering is that online game distributors like Steam®, Direct2Drive® and Gamewatcher® (not launched, but it is said to be a very nice platform on sharp prices) are going to follow this trend? (Prices are not avaible on Steam)
